HoyQueHay

What's happening in Mexico today — concerts, culture, sports and alerts on an interactive pixel-art map.

How it's built

  1. Cron Workers per source
  2. Supabase + PostGIS
  3. Next.js API
  4. Pixel-art map

HoyQueHay pulls events from public sources and drops them on a pixel-art map of Mexico, so you can see at a glance what’s going on near you today.

How it works

Each source has its own Cloudflare Worker running on a cron schedule. Workers normalize events and write them into Supabase (PostgreSQL + PostGIS), where geospatial queries find what’s nearby. A Next.js API on Vercel serves those happenings to a MapLibre GL map styled as pixel art.

The monorepo (Turborepo + npm workspaces) shares types between the workers and the web app, and a single release command deploys the database, the workers and the frontend.
